Mesosphere is looking for a talented, energetic, and driven individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative in Beijing, China. This position will provide lead development support to the sales organization through the development of qualified leads that result in closed-won business.
As the foundation of the Sales organization at Mesosphere, the SDR function is at the core of our bookings and where all pipeline originates. We continuously educate prospects on the enterprise transformation towards distributed computing and hybrid cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for processing inbound sales leads and identifying opportunities that meet the minimum qualification criteria for sales.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will:
Conduct high volume prospecting for inbound leads (appx. 40 – 50 calls a day) Identify qualified sales opportunities in mid-market and enterprise accounts Set up Discovery calls for Inside Sales/Account Executives and prospective customers Record lead and prospect activity in Salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management Meet or exceed activity metrics for calls, appointments set, opportunities added and prospecting time. Build relationships and effectively communicate with territory sales team and management.

BA/BS degree from leading university. Business or technical degree a plus. Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria Ability to follow-up on leads in a professional manner Ability to communicate the value proposition of products and services in a clear and succinct manner
